This Privacy Policy explains how Australian Christian Business Awards (ACBA, we, our, or us) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you access or use our website, nomination forms, event registration links, sponsorship forms, directory features, portal access, and related services (together, the Platform).

  • event, sponsorship, or registration details such as organisation details, attendee information, package selections, and related correspondence;
  • membership and billing details such as selected plan, subscription status, renewal dates, invoice references, customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, and checkout history where paid services are offered;
  • communication data such as email delivery records, enquiry submissions, support requests, and transactional notices;
  • technical, authentication, and security information such as IP address, browser type, device information, session data, login activity, and service logs made available through our systems or providers.

3. Information that may become public

If you submit content for a public listing, nominee profile, winner profile, sponsor recognition, testimonial, or similar public-facing feature, the information you choose to include may be visible on the Platform.

Public information may include:

  • business or organisation name;
  • category or award category;
  • profile descriptions;
  • website and social media links;
  • logo or image;
  • contact information you choose to publish;
  • city, state, or country;
  • publication date; and
  • membership, sponsor, winner, finalist, or related recognition indicators.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit for public display is appropriate for publication and does not include confidential or sensitive information that you do not want made public.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
  • receive, review, and manage nominations, applications, submissions, listings, and enquiries;
  • allow users to create, edit, publish, and manage profiles or directory listings;
  • process subscriptions, billing events, renewals, cancellations, event registrations, and related account entitlements where applicable;
  • send transactional communications such as confirmation emails, payment notices, account updates, and service messages;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, monitor, maintain, and improve the Platform;
  • administer awards programs, events, promotions, partnerships, and community initiatives;
  • enforce our Terms of Service, investigate misuse, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
